About this journal

Small systems, documented carefully.

Stonepath Notes is a quiet collection of practical observations about software, small servers, backups, and maintenance.

The goal is modest: write down the details that are easy to forget and useful to find again. No feeds to game, no tracking scripts, and no weekly publishing promise.

Principles

• Prefer understandable systems.
• Automate repetition, not judgment.
• Test recovery before it becomes urgent.
• Keep enough notes for the next person — even if that person is you.
